Teresa Keenan


Teresa Keenan is an accomplished leader with years of corporate and nonprofit experience – and a passion for serving the needs of at-risk youth in our community. She most recently served as Executive Director of City House in Plano, where she successfully completed a million-dollar expansion campaign and significantly increased revenue, while managing daily operations.

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Teresa held leadership positions at Verizon Information Services (formerly GTE Directories Corporation). She has an extensive track record of award-winning performance in sales operations, market strategy, and business development. With a background in advertising, she’s won many prestigious awards, including Cannes Gold Lion, North American Effie, and several multiple ADDY awards for her work at DFW International Airport.

Teresa serves on the Executive Women of Dallas board and has volunteered with many nonprofit organizations including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Collin County Homeless Coalition. She holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Illinois State University.

Meredith Carpenter


Meredith Carpenter has been working with at-risk youth for six years and is passionate about walking alongside students as they realize their passions and discover the ways in which they can transform their future. She has a Masters in Intercultural Studies with an emphasis in International Development from Fuller Theological Seminary, where she studied theories of poverty, culture, and economic development methodologies. Her previous experience includes running an after-school program for high-risk youth on the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Arizona, one of the poorest and most violent reservations in America. She believes that kindness, acceptance, mentorship, and positivity can transform the lives of young people, and has found her dream job at Incarnation House.

Anthony Valente

Manager of Volunteer/Partner

Anthony Valente is passionate about ensuring each and every child reaches their fullest potential and grows into successful and compassionate adults.  Anthony has worked with children of all ages, however, he mostly enjoys working with adolescents.

He has worked with the YWCA and various other nonprofits before joining Incarnation House. He has a deep understanding of children, especially with their physical and mental development.  He has recently relocated to Texas from New Jersey. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Law from Montclair State University and has interned with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

He is very excited to join the Incarnation House team and looks forward to becoming more acquainted with Texas.
